there are a lot of good restaurants in Amsterdam, just walk around in the centre and you'll find something good without any problems, just check if its a busy restaurant, if it is, its a GOOD one.

The Indian restaurant at the corner of Rembrandt plein.
Expensive but worth the money, good portions and friendly and polite service.
