Her hair is fake.
She wears a 'lace-front wig' similar to the wigs worn by Beyonce and Rihanna - to name a couple. These wigs are often worn for dramatic transformations in theatre and the movies. I noticed Christina Aguilera wearing one the other day.
If you look very closely you will notice a different shade of skintone around the hairline of the forehead to the rest of the face- this is where make up (usually powder or blush) has been used to disguse the pale coloured lace (a very fine mesh where the wearer's real hair is pulled through to create a more natural look than normal wigs) at the front of the wig to try and blend it in with the wig wearer's skin colour.
These wigs are fabulous but cost thousands as they are usually handmade and have quite intricate detail!

Tyra always has gorgeous lock extensions. She alternates between black, brown and red hair extensions.

almost every celebrity has fake hair..
but tyra said her hair isn't fake on the tyra show..
so i don't know.
i mean she could just admit its fake like every other celebrity and not make a big deal about it.

I remember she was on a late night show and talked about her fake hair and she also said that you would be surprised on how many other models have fake hair. Actually she said "You would be surprised on how many girls I model with have fake hair. Yeah even the white girls." I was like ok.... where did that come from? lol

Yes it is fake. I think that her hair must be just past her ears length wise

Of course its fake. Haven't you noticed one episode its short and the next its long??? Her hair couldn't possibly grow so much in such a short period of time. And plus shes always talking about her weaves anyways.

nope it is not her hair.Tyra is sporting a lace front wig whch is what most american celebrities seem to be wearing at the minute.Im not quite sure about how long her hair actually is but its no way near as long as the wigs she wears!
