Indigenous people of North American are located all across the United States. Many Native Americans live on reservations. Many others live off the reservation in citys, towns, suburbs etc.. with the rest of the U.S. population.

To get more information visit 500nations.com. They list tribes per state and give links to official tribal websites.

Hope this helps!

Well, some of them are right here in Upstate New York. There's the Oneidas, my next-door neighbors. Then there're the Tuscaroras, the Onondagas, the Cayugas, the Senecas, the Mohawks, the Mohicans (no, they didn't die out as alleged by James Fenimore Cooper)... And then back in Oklahoma where I was born (Indian Territory) there're tens of thousands more of various tribes and nations. Then in Arizona where I started school on the Hopi Reservation - the oldest continuously-occupied settlement on the North American continent, Orabi - there're also Apache, Navajo, Yuma - and in New Mexico, where I attended high school and college, there're more Apache, Zuni, Tortugas and many, many others.
That's where....

They relocated all right. Have you never heard of the Trail of Tears? Others relocated underground. We still have a few on reservations but when I say a few I mean very few. My great great uncle was Bloody Sleeves Crawford. Quite a legacy there. That will give you a start on how to research this.
