i try to learn more every day, at 20 i realized there was more in school i should have done, on my own, the teachers might not have been able to teach what i wanted to learn, but in high school you dont have a job or alot of responsibilites, so there are never ending chances to learn and learn. i want to learn to make rocking chairs, roll cigars, make wine, grow a garden, sew, play piano, find happines. Every day I think of somthing that would be great to learn and experience, but now I am too tied up with work to tackle these adventures at the pace that I would like to. I wish I would have had even the knowledge that I have now and gone to college, but I guess hind sight is 20/20.

Live and Learn every day

Sounds like you are on the right track to me. At 45, I know even less than I did at 23.

If you ant learning something new every day or think you know it all you might as well be dead because one of the great things in life is to gain more knowledge. Its the only thing we can take with us.. So keep looking for the ans to the things you don't know and don't never get the attitude you know it all.

Congratulations. At 23 you have stumbled upon one of the truly wise statements that will guide you well in your life! It took me 40 years to realize this on my own. Well done, kiddo.

The funny thing is, you will keep on learning and never even care that you are learning less and less as you learn more and more. How is THAT for a wonderful conundrum?

One of the main things my Sufi master taught me was that "the more you know, the less you know."

Like many of the other amazing truths he taught me, this one has been proven more than once.
