Ofcourse there is sound, as long as you have proof it made a sound. Our inablitiy to perceive a certain thing does not mean they don't exist, because there are many abstract things we believe in.
Even If you were deaf, the sound still exists.

depends on the conditions present when the tree falls. Lets say that a tree is on the international space station and is flung to the outer reaches of space. Technically, it will be falling as gravity will be acting on it the same as on earth but no sound would be made. Or if a tree inside a lunar base was set outside for an experiment and fell over, again no sound as there would be no atmosphere to propagate it. Sound is a function of wave form, as long as a wave can propagate it has the potential to create an audible sound. A more interesting question would be if a dog whistle is blown and a dog isn't around to hear it, does it make a sound?

The no vibration theory would be good except for the fact that it's the vibration moving throuh the air from the tree hitting the ground that makes your eardrum vibrate in the first place and the sound is still in the air, eardrum or no.

No.
Until a human ear can interpret something, it is not called a sound. The possibility for a sound does still exist though.

No, if you define sound as vibrations of the air which cause the ear to perceive them. No ear, no sound. Next.
