Could a guy actually learn things about how women see things by reading Cosmoplitan Magazine?

If a man reads Cosmo he is getting a glimpse into how approximately 8% of women think. (and I think that is a generous estimate)

No, they need to actually pay attention to the particular female they are involved with. I recently bought a Cosmo Magazine to check out the "hot sex" or whatever section....My thoughts when reading the other articles: who actually thinks like this!
A guy can only find out about a female's view point by taking the time to get to know her uniqueness. We're all different.

Not at all. Cosmo is not the bible on women's issues despite what some might think. If a man wants a glimpse of how women think then ask!

Yes, I think it could help a man find a women's point of view. It won't help in specific instances though because we are all different. For instance, I am a quiet woman who LOVES hard rock, football, fishing and detests overly poofy, fashion-minded, gossipy BS. But I do like the softer things as well.
We're complicated sometimes, so good luck!

Depends on what kind of woman he wants to understand. I loathe Cosmo and any man who reads that magazine will have no clue what I'm thinking. But he may be able to better understand the nearest bar girl.

Yuck, no.

He'd get a glimpse of how the media think women are supposed to think. That's not particularly useful.

No!!!! I actually liked the magazine as a teen, but the older I became, the harder it go to digest the materials and their message. I can not relate to any of the magazine like Cosmo, Glamour.... they are trash!

Sure why not, it's like women read playboy ect...but, they could also just be interested in what is in the mag, or they might be gay, but, who cares at least they know how to read.
