Its not freedom if you dont have a choice in the matter.

We have all these great ideas and concepts that our contry was founded upon. Freedom, liberty, and truth. Yet they are abused forgotten and covered up in hopes of easy money.

US freedom won't be "socialized, where everybody is paid the same". You start with a false premise there. We may consider some "socialist" slants, like some type of insurance coverage for all or most. That would be done, most likely, for capitalist reasons, really. When the burden of healthcare becomes too high(someone who makes $60,000 a year & is a cancer survivor pays $26,000 a year.Real person, real story). A 12 year old child didn't get ordinary dental care in Maryland, the abcessed tooth infection spread to the brain and he died after he was admitted to the emergency room and $200,000 in medical care was administered. In case 1, we are practically encouraging her to quit work, and apply for Medicaid. If we have the bad luck to get cancer, it may easily drive us from a good income level to a much lower clas. That means the government has less revenue and more costs. In case 2, the failure to provide preventive care cost us much more in the end. And he died-a 12 year old.

You can complain about Socialism but it may make sense in a capitalist sense as well.
