Absolutely not. By the way which Aam Admi you are talking about. That aam admi lives in villeges and every single budget is focussed only to help Rich Admi who lives in Cities like Bombay, Delhi and other big cities.

Budget is always full of exemptions and incentives for the businessmen. Aam Admi's hope of tax benefit is a fancy imagination. Left hand takes away what the right hand offers.

We should understand that whatever we are investing today is for tomorrow. Like what we invest today on our children's education, will only show results after a period time.

However the performance of the children will be the most important aspect after we have earmarked for their education. If they don't perform as they are expected to do, our money will go waste.

So a periodic assessment and reevaluation needs to be done from time to time. In this way we can know whether or not our efforts are going to yield the desired results.

Similar is the case of the budget presented by the finance minister.

As on date, I will like to guess that, the Govt. would have done proper home work and the budget will be people friendly.

We should also understand that main quality of the budget in a country like India, has to be bringing more and more people in the organised sector. Those who are already able to meet most of their requirements will have to understand that, it is the poor and under privileged ( Unorganised), who need special consideration.

Those who are well off, should not depend on the finance minister for their growth. Instead they should depend on their hard work and calibre.

One should understand that budgets are not meant to help only rich people. In a country like ours, development should
be the main focus of any budget.Second priority should be the welfare of people. With limited resources,Finance Minister has done really a good job.He has taken care to see that there should not be any major shift in policies, because stability is also a main requirement for progress.Neither he has increased taxes, nor proposed new taxes.on the contrary
he has reduced several customs duties, excise duties and also increased allocations for several projects, like irrigation, research and development of seeds, pulses etc.etc.
In short he has tried to take care of almost each and every section of Indian society including minorities.I congratulate
Mr.Chidambaram for his sincere efforts to put India on a path of development.
