The sad part is that he'll get his paycheck, even if he isn't worth it. Football salaries aren't as bad as baseball's thanks to the salary cap, but nevertheless, the top players still get their way most of the time. As to where he'll end up, your guess is as good as mine.

I wouldn't worry too much d b was wrong in saying that players don't visit different teams then go back to the first one this actually happens quite often however you don't hear about it because it is mostly small time players that do this more....as of right now the patriots are the only team to offer him a contract i don't know where you got those figures from but like d b said i don't think stallworth could walk away from 20 mil in guaranteed money....and said to say Miami does have the cap room if they really wanted him....as far as where he will be going i have no idea your guess is as good as mine i guess it's whoever is will in to pay the most

I honestly dont believe the offer speculated from NE is legit. You dont shop around in free agency for the best deal, and a guy like Stallworth would not walk away from $32 million.
When you get an offer like this, you sign on the dotted line, you dont see if you can get more money from the next team, and if not, hope that the Pats keep this offer on the table for you. Why do you keep hearing about these guys scheduling trips to all these cities, then signing in the first stop.
How often do you hear guys make the rounds in free agency, then GO BACK to one of the first teams and sign for what they were offered? It doesnt happen very often. You just dont go from city A to city B to city C, only to find out that city A was the best offer.
Why would NE offer him that kind of money, when he said he would sign a 1 year incentive laden deal and test FA again next year?
And, yes the Dolphins do have the cap space available to match this "deal"

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say it's not all about money and he's trying to get somwhere near a good amount of money AND pick a team he'd like to play for (maybe he doesn't want to play in the freezing cold outdoors in Gillete Stadium).
and Lights Out -- we do NOT want him in SD --he's an injury risk and has off-field issues (and we just cleaned house of those guys --Foley and Kiel) --out of all FA WRs, I'd say Kevin Curtis or Shaun McDonald would be best --but I don't see us picking up any FA--we'll address S and WR in the draft (having Jackson and Floyd see more time is already an upgrade from last year)

It's rumored that he has been talking with the 49ers also. So there is a chance he made end up there. They already picked up Lelie so it's obvious they are trying to get a few weapons around Smith.

Well, I'm a Pats fan, and I think he would be better than the WR we just got...He could be a #1 receiver for Brady, but he better accept the offer, cause the Pats won't be going up on it...
