OS is WindowsXP(professional) with SP2. I am using Original and genuine window CD and not pirated.

Virtual memory setup under performance is already set to "System managed size".

What you didnt tell us is what OS is on your really nice system. If it is Vista, the game may simply NOT BE COMPATIBLE.

go to system properties and hit advanced tab. Under performance....and then advanced again, you'll find virtual mem settings. Either let windows manage or set yourself...you don't want to go beyond 2.5x physical ram...so in your case 2.5GB would be about maxed out
