Well, FL v Couey was just decided yesterday. He was found guilty of raping and murdering 12 year old Jessica Lunsford by burying her alive. That would be criminal of course.

Civil, A VERY interesting civil case is currently in litigation, also in FL. Daughters are suing a doctor and a geriatric center for using extraordinary means for keeping their 92-year-old mother alive in spite of her advance directive saying she did not want it. Here's a link

Look up the Avery trial in Wisconsin. Its interesting because the guy was in jail for years, got out from DNA proving it wasnt him, then recently did do a terrible murder. Civils probably anna nicole smith something or other.
