First, keep them neat and pretty ( don't forget hand lotion). Then I suggest chew gum or even straws to keep my attention away from your nails. Another thing I do is when I have a chipped nail and no nail file to smooth it, to stop myself from picking at it I put a band aid or tape over it until I can get home and fix it. It is better to pick at a band aid than your pretty nails.

It is a hard habit to break, good luck.

I do the same thing and the one thing I've found that works for me is fake nails. I don't spend of ton, just the store bought ones.(nothing too long or gross, just natural looking nails) I put them on and give myself a nice polish. I find that if i keep them on for about 3 weeks (changing them inbetween of course) my real nails will have a chance to grow. When I take them off, I have some nail started and I've lost the urge to bite them (I guess since you cant bite plastic) Then I just keep it up til I have a nice natural set of nails. Then of course, one breaks, I bite and I do this cycle all over again lol

Good luck!

I used to bite my nails but I stopped. I always had nail polish on them. With in 2 weeks I stopped biting them. You can just use clear nail polish but colored nail polish works best. Good luck.

I used to bite my nails when I was younger. My mom bought me this clear nail polish. It looked ordinary but when I would try to bite my nails it tasted really bitter and gross. I wore the polish for about 2-3 months. I haven't bitten my nails in years.

I bite my nails too, my suggestion if you want to grow them out, find a topical solution or someway to stop biting them, but dont bite them too far down, or it will limit the cuticle and they wont grow anymore. go see a dermatologist. they may have something for you
