I notice that some people are more inclined to seek truth in their own subjective perceptions and hopes. They think what they believe is true because they can feel it or intuit it. Other people are more inclined to seek truth in objective analysis through tests and logic. They think what they believe is true because they can prove it (more or less) or logically defend it. Which inclination do you think you have? Which inclination is more desirable or beneficial to have? Which leads to greater happiness or satisfaction with life?

Go with your beleifs. Scientific facts change all the time. Wasn't it once a fact that the earth was flat? Without beleif there is no imagination, and people will never try new things. It would be the end of our own evolution.

Each human being lives in his/her own world. Because of the way we learn and develop, each person lives in their own separate reality. Everything they experience (see, hear, feel, taste, smell, learn, interaction with others) is run through their minds which filters through their feelings and past experiences.

There is a saying, "We do not see the world the way it is, but rather we see the world the way we are." If you are a happy person, then you see the world as a happy place, if you are cynical, then you will see the world as harsh and cold. Also, our view changes from moment to moment, day to day. If today you are in a good mood, then the world seems friendlier. If you are in a bad mood the world seems more hostile.

Also, truth is subjective. What is true for me may not be true for you. What is true today may not be true tomorrow. My great grandfather was born a slave in Mississippi in 1859 and at that time the "truth" was slavery was normal. Today the "truth" is slavery is a terrible thing.

The only true things are the things that can be measured and cannot be changed (like the sun will shine tomorrow).

Happiness comes from not taking yourself, your feelings and your own thoughts too seriously. If you can, please read "The Four Agreements" by Miguel Ruiz.

Well, it depends on what you are referring too..but, as for me, I always go with my gut, that little feeling in your stomach telling you whether it's right or wronge, whether it's going to cause someone or me pain and suffering, and if it's morally right or wronge...I don't think there is any one right answer to this question because you can find the truth to anything, but, there are also miracles, and they really exist, I'm a living miracle...so I think it's all up to what and who you are, and who cares what other's think, it's what you think and feel and what kind of person you are inside and out..

You are correct in your assumption. People may read and hear what they will but they always end up going with their gut feeling. Happiness and satisfaction in life comes from looking back and saying "I did it my way". - with no regrets.
