I notice that some people are more inclined to seek truth in their own subjective perceptions and hopes. They think what they believe is true because they can feel it or intuit it. Other people are more inclined to seek truth in objective analysis through tests and logic. They think what they believe is true because they can prove it (more or less) or logically defend it. Which inclination do you think you have? Which inclination is more desirable or beneficial to have? Which leads to greater happiness or satisfaction with life?

It is better to withhold opinion about what is not known. "I don't know," is an acceptable answer. So much time is wasted arguing things nobody knows. If you will accept "proof" about something no one knows then I have this naked emperor to sell you.

I think you can only believe what you "feel" is right. I've tried to convince myself of certain ideas which were more logical or probable than my own. But until you "feel" that the logical explanation is correct, you're only trying to convince yourself. Sometimes what we believe and what we want to believe are two different things. And although I'll give credit to anyone who will try to believe another opinion (that takes a lot to be that open-minded) A lot of times people will argue a point that they deep down feel is incorrect. That's your true belief.

Or at least that's what I believe...

Belief and knowledge are not the same thing. Once you have proven something scientifically it becomes knowlege and there is no longer a need for belief. Once it was proven that the world was round, believing that it was flat because people still "felt it to be right and true" would have been silly.

as I see it, it's a matter of choosing between what is right and what is easy. i cannot help but notice that plenty of history was written in blood because people did "what they felt was right or true" in spite of all the evidence to the contrary. so, I guess my answer would be question everything before you decide to believe it's true.

it is not always right that sometimes can be wrong it is what is right that will always be right that can be a solution to find truth and can be a solution that can also investigate in what is true that will investigate for what is right. it is not through observation that you know what is right. it is the feeling and need to know what is wrong. follow your conscience follow your faith follow your road to all happiness that leads to a journey of hope and dreams
