I actually have sympathy for bullies - i think they're really insecure. The people I have NO sympathy for are the people who watch bullying happenand don't do anything about it or even encourage the bully - the followers who don't have enough backbone to stop the hurt

My son was being bullied in school for a while. The school didn't want to do anything about it because the bully was a troubled kid and was in danger of expulsion because he had already been suspended so many times (for being a bully).
My son put up with a LOT of sh*t from this kid while the teachers and school did nothing. Finally my son started fighting back -he said he could only handle being hit over and over for so long before he hit the kid back. Then MY son got in trouble, but still not the bully!
Unbelievable. After going to the school (for the 3rd time)and DEMANDING something be done, the bullying stopped.
Schools need to STOP these bullies and quit turning their backs and ignoring the situation. My son came home in tears so many times because of this kid. It's not right, bullies ruin peoples lives. Kids can't learn in that kind of environment.

I have found there is only one sure way to stop a bully from bullying you. That is to bully them. They can't stand their own medicine. It may sound like a bad thing to do, but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. My younger brother was always bullied in the 3rd grade. My Dad told him to ask the bully to stop and if he didn't, give him some it. He did and the bullying stopped. Really,,he slapped the s**t out of the bully.

Usually bullies are just kids with deeper issues. Most pick on kids to divert attention away from their own learning issues or family problems.

I feel sorry for them. They must have no friends and do not know how to make friends, which must be why they are so angry and need to bully others.
