some of The Fray's music was played on some TV shows before they were released. off the top of my head, i can tell you that HTSAL was played on Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, One Tree Hill . . . and there are more too.
but i agree, the song has been way overplayed, which is very sad to me because i think it's such a great song and it's sad that people are too sick of it now to listen to it.
but one thing i can tell you for absolute sure: IT IS NOT A REMAKE. it is an original Fray song written by Isaac and Joe.

Maybe because they play it on every radion station a billion trillion times a day? I hate when good songs get overplayed...
