1st off I am so sorry about your mom, I feel your pain. You need to do what is right for you, if it was something that you had dreamt of doing before the accident then you shouldn't let your mothers circumstances hold you back. I dont know your belief system on death but my thought has always been it was the persons time regardless of what they were doing it was their time and no matter what the outcome would have been the same.
I lost my husband last April, he was killed in a motorcycle accident (he died doing what he loved). I still ride and with the same love as before, if anything it makes me feel more in touch with my love for it and the love he had for riding.
I guess all Im saying is as long as your not being pushed into it and it's something you have wanted to do then you should, and Im sure your mother would not want you to be anything less then the best you could be.

First I am so sorry about your mom. I can not tell you what to decide but i would make sure that the company is complying to all safety regulations and is being made to keep records of that fact b4 i would make any decision.

My condolences about your mother, may God bless her soul.. So terrible to hear, I understand your fear. But as we know, planes are the safest form of transportation... It's rare that they crash compare to vehicle accidents.
