Did you really need to ask? You couldn't figure this one out on your own? Is this some kind of trick questions. With the assumption that you have no clue and could not find out any other way...A horse usually has four legs unless it has had any deformities or mutilations.

Pertaining to what? Are we talking about a sea horse? Are we talking about a land horse? Are we talking about a horse with mutations? Do you know what a horse is? Is this suppose to be a joke? Are you a child or an adult? You will have to be a little bit more specific with your question. What are you trying to gain? If you are a child, are you trying to gain what the concept of a horse is? Because this is such an obvious answer, I'm not sure how to answer this. I need to know more information in relationship to your question.

Hmmm, 4 obvious ones, though a horse is said to find an 'extra' leg when it has to stop itself, succesfully, from falling!!!!

You got the riddle wrong.

The riddle is: "How many legs does a horse have IF YOU CALL ITS TAIL A LEG?"

Answer: Four. Calling a tail a leg doesn't make it one.
