i been dateing my bf for 3 years now and were planning on getting married in a couple years. ..but my mom HATES his mom but she only meant her once ..she's just going by what my bf's stepmom has told her about her ..so my mom thinks she's a bad person which isnt true ..I just wish she would take time to actually know her instead of judgein her when she doesnt know her..i dont know what to do

What's important is how your mom feels about your boyfriend. If they get along okay, then there's no worries. His mom and your mom aren't going to have too much to do with each other anyway.

Since she's only met her once in the three years you've been together, maybe your moms should get together a little more often. They can't get to know each other if they never hang out. But relax...if you never manage to get them to be best of friends, that's okay. You are marrying your bf, not his family. Good luck and Congrats!

Of cource the stepmom thinks his real mom is a bad person tell your mom that. Maybe shell be more supportive of yalls engagement.
