I love to see cousins that I played with as a kid. The best part for me, is talking to the elderly. I love to find out family tree information and family stories in general. The older family members are FASCINATING! They are past the age where they give a crap and will tell you anything you ask! lol...I love knowing where I come from and what kind of lives these people led. I love taking pictures each year. Another neat part is watching my kids play and bond with other kids in the family. We go to two reunions each year (mother's side and father) We always have a blast, the food is great and the conversations are fun. I started planning some games for the reunions since typically we would just sit around and eat. We do a silent auction which is really fun. Everyone brings an item from home, wrapped, and we have an auction to raise money for food/drinks for the next year. We also have the kids play games for prizes.
My least favorite thing is knowing that some people will not be in the pics next year :( Recently my least favorite thing was having my WILD 2 year old there. We spent most of the day chasing him. Maybe this year he wont run off so much.

Last family reunion for my husband's side was a very brief visit from us to be in pictures, and then we jetted!!!

Everytime i go i get to meet a new person from my family and there is always good food and beeer and everyone is happy for the first day. Least fav is when people start gettin too drunk or irritated and fights brek out. or when you invite someone who isnt part of the fam and everyone wants to tell the worst most embarrassing stories about you to them. All in all fun times. Glad it only happens once in a long while.

Favorite is seeing all my cousins and drinking withthem and getting out of hand.
