It's a good idea. I'm not sure how the violations things work though. It should be that someone somewhere at YA looks at what is being violated and then decides whether it is offensive or not as some things are obviously racist/sexist or whatever. Everything else is a matter of someone's opinion and lots of people have been given violation notices purely because they have given an answer to someone's question in the past which they didn't like.

At the bottom of this page you will see
"Help us improve Yahoo! Answers. Tell us what you think.". Why not give it a try. Identify what you think the problem is and then how it could be possibly resolved. Complaining will not fix the problem.

its unfortunate that whenever an idiot doesnt agree with ones comments,that they have the power to cause violation.

Or they could actually read the questions that are...er...ah... in question before they remove them. I think they just remove anything that is reported.
