Sunshine and air on your body with some sun screen? And not to lay there and bake for hours, just a little? Which is considered a better alternative?

Jaden, When my wife and I went to Jaimaca for a week we found that a little tanning helped, about 5 times or so, nothing too intense. Then, we enjoyed being out in the sun for about 1/2 hour at a time with just some 8 SPF sunscreen. Again, nothing too intense. That worked great. Out in the sun for a while then in the shade.

So, your body does need sunshine to help make vitamin D and it is also good to boost your mood. So, I would say a little bit of both. I think a natural light tan looks sooooo awesome and doesn't looked baked. A dark tan girl means only one thing to a guy...."High Maintenance!"

They are both damaging to your skin. Learn from me! I have fair skin and I always wanted that "fabulous tan!" I've tried tanning booths and baked outside in the sun.
Well....this past year I had to have 2 suspicious looking spots removed from my arm and face. They turned out to be Basal Cell Carcinoma. (Skin Cancer) Luckily they got it all. Now I have surgery scars....no tan....just scars.
Love the skin you're in. Accept yourself for who you are. Use sunscreen and enjoy the outdoors!

Your skin doesn't know the difference between natural UV rays and salon UV rays. If your skin is tanning, you're damaging it. Period. End of story.

Doesn't matter, both have UV but at least in the sun you get some fresh air.
