ima confused about the planet. in the original transformers series (the episodes after the movie) voices of the past told hot rodimus prime that their world is a machine planet but in the spin-off series of beast machines optimus primal found out that it was an organic planet way underneath the mechanical topside.

so is cybertron organic? mechanical? or techo-organic?

The Beast Machine series changed the storyline of the nature of Cybertron, making it look and feel like the Earth from Final Fantasy VII.

In the Beast Machine series, Cybertron was organic in the distant past, then its outer layer turned mechanical before the existence of the Transformers, and in the end of the Beast Machine series the whole Cybertron become techo-organic when it was reformatted.

when the story of the transformers where originally concieved, the "all machine planet" was true, but as new series were developed, the "all machine planet" concept needed to change to accomodate those new series/stories. so they changed it so that the planet was originally an organic world with a metallic shell. at the end of beast wars (or was it beast machines? which ever series it was that had the maximals and the predicons back on cybertron) the transformers planet, Cybertron, was changed into a techno-organic "paradise".
