As a parent some of the essentials for a little one can become costly~ Although there are many was to obtain saving on these, through coupons/sales etc.

Ideally, if you could obtain diapers/formula for free, through paying a small monthly fee, & shipping costs,

What would you consider a fair Monthly price you would be wiling to pay to access such items??

This is a general inquiry and your opinion is valuable~

Email responses are fine also

If I'm paying a "small" monthly fee and shipping costs, then its hardly free.

At this point I pay about $32 per month for Kirkland brand formula, and about $40 per month for Huggies diapers at Coscto (or through Amazon.com when they have a sale).

I guess that as long as I didn't have to do ANYTHING besides pay the "fee and shipping" I'd be willing to pay any amount less than I'm paying now. But I tend to be of the opinion that nothing is "free" and I'm guessing that you would sell my information to other companies and I would get all sorts of telemarketing calls and junk mail as well as having to sign up for all sorts of crazy offers that say I can cancel within 30 days, but make it impossible to find the phone number I would have to call to be able to cancel.

I don't think there should be a set monthly price, I think different households have different needs, so maybe set up different monthly packages. One child may use 2x as many diapers as another, one family could be fine with generic products while others have problems with that. The main thing is to find out the cost to you and add somewhere around 30% - some would go lower, some higher. If this means you are looking into starting something like this, good for you!

I get the food/formula free while the diapers I spend about 20-30 a month on. He is 4 months old now, I also buy him a little gift about 40 dollars a month on that.

It mostly depends on the brand/quality of the product. I know I spend a lot of money on my son's formula. More than the diapers!

I'd check to see if the s&h is worth while vs. gas costs.

I might have to revisit this question after I think about it more.

I only spend about 20/mo on diapers... and milk is free...
So... $10? maybe 15? might not be worth it.
