No, I have done two tours in over there. they will sell a christian out in aheartbeat over their religion.

Muslims may not be cuddly or gentle on a mass level but then name one relious group of which that can be said? The majority are peaceful though. The trouble with the nature of media is that only bad news makes it into the news. Like everything else in life you can't generalise millions by the behaviour of a handful.
Not only that but when the world has come to the point where a muslim is arrested and interogated for several hours before being released with absolutely no charge and eventually an apology, simply for saying salamualikum (which means peace be upon you) to an airport official, you can understand the anger and resentement felt by some.

Only a small minority are militants. Now wether muslims are cuddly and gentle I can't say. Humans aren't dogs and I'm not sure if they are trying to be cuddly and gentle. You don't seem very cuddly and gentle yourself..should I be alarmed. The muslim world hardly touches our everyday lives, yet the lives of muslims are touched everyday by the decisions we have made in the west regarding the future of their people. Perhaps they are angry. Perhaps they arent cuddly enough for your taste. Maybe we can make the world a more cuddly place by continuing to force our wills upon nations until they smile and accept our profitable presence willingly.

How many Muslims do you know? How many Muslim nations have you visited? I know for a FACT that I am ignorant about Muslims because I have not known many. Those that I knew were quite polite and friendly to me so I am at least aware that it's POSSIBLE that most are like any other group of people on planet Earth.
