It's more of an opinon, personally I don't like him because he does not give two craps what the fans want he "thinks" we LOOOOOOVE his ideas meanwhile most of them suck @$$ lately. I also dont like him because he is hiring horrible "female wrestlers", and not hiring good ones.

Fan hatred for Vince started when he screwed Bret Hart out of the WWF championship in the infamous Montreal Screw Job. Since then, he has done everything he can to make fans hate him so they will pay more money to see him get his *** kicked.

I think he's hilarious! He must really love wrestling because think about it, he's a very wealthy man, he could just let everyone go in and do the angles without him, but he wants to be included because he likes what he does. And the wrestlers aren't against him...they're just playing a part. Hell, HHH acts like he can't stand him and in reality, Vince is his father in law!

He's portrayed as a heel, that is, someone who tries to be the bad guy, the guy who draws the boos. In reality, he's not that bad of a guy. He just acts like one because that's how wrestling is; it's scripted and acted. Hell, he could be a nice guy for all he cares. But it's more interesting if the chairman is corrupt and you have wrestlers trying to take him down.

Because, in this total soap opera, he wanted to be a major actor and so, has taken the part of the very rich, hard nosed tough guy who flaunts his wealth and title to all so he can "win" more fans who are willing to pay big dollars to see his show, thus making him even richer than he already is.
However, in real life, he is a very astute business man who has made a tremendous success of the American dream in achieving ultimate power in the U.S. business world.

Vince Mcmahon character is potray as cocky heel boss who does not give the fans what they want but do as he pleases.Vince is a heel so it is his duty to sell it ot the crowd.

its all a show, i think fans do respect him, if it weren't for his family there would be no type of wrestling.
