Kennesaw state atlatnic sun tourney?

why arent the kennesaw state owls in the atlantic sun conference tournament for mens basketball? there are 10 teams in the conference and only 8 teams get in the conference tourney. so that would mean that the worst two dont get in. but kennesaw state was the 5th best team in the confernce. so can someone tell me whats going on

they are on probation.

They have recently joined the conference and are ineligible for the conference tournament until next year.
