I don't know, Ever since I was young Ive seen women slapping men in the face on Tv and movies and getting sway with it, I had a girlfriend who'd roundhouse punch me whenever she got mad. I finally charged her with assault and had the police remove her from my house. NOBODY has the right to physically abuse another.

Although I don't think it right for anyone to hit anyone else, I think the general idea is that most men are stronger and bigger than most women. If a woman open hand slaps a man, I think it would be better for the man to just restrain her. But if a woman close fisted punches a man, then she better be able to take a punch. Again I think the difference is that most women can't restrain men, so the only defense if he hits first is to hit back.

Long ago, women were to be subservient to men because it says so in the Bible. Women complained and it was made into law so that if the woman complained to the police, the men would be arrested.
In recent years, women had used this law to get even with men they didn't like and if the men had even touched the women in any way, they would scream rape and have the men arrested even though the men were innocent ; more recently, men don't even have to touch the women if the women would only scream rape.

Now, The police are doing more investigating into the women's complaint to see if she is only making false charges. Because of this, women are being looked at by the police and their criminal backgrounds are being checked.

I think it's equally wrong for a woman to hit a man as it is for a man to hit a woman. Unless it's in self-defense or if the other person hits you first it's never OK to assault anyone. If I, as a woman, went up and slapped a man and he slapped me back then I would deserve it. I hate it when men say "oh, I would never hit a woman". This implies that it's OK though for him to hit another guy. Well, it's not.

My girlfriend punched me in the face once. I liked it because it was so ballsy of her, even though it pissed me off at that moment. I would never have even thought of hitting her, though. The way I saw it, a woman couldn't really hurt me, so violence toward women was off limits unless they were trying to stab me or something. That said, some guys can certainly be hurt and shouldn't be abused. If my girlfriend had tried to do it on a regular basis, though, I might have thrown her around a bit, just to scare her, and teach her a lesson for her own good. Then I would have dumped her.

Who ever said it was okay? Its wrong either way. A woman can and will get arrested for physical assault if the man she is attacking presses charges. But most men dont do so. They tend to restrain her themselves. Women, on the other hand, may be a little less physically capable to restrain a man who is beating on her. So we call the cops or damn near kill them with weapons.

Like i said, either way is abuse and wrong.

I think it's because women are generally smaller and the attitude is that men should be able to defend themselves. That view is changing now though and most people would accept that it's never right.

traditionally, in most societies, men are considered the gender leader. for thousands of years men have beat women. simply being bigger accounts for this and why its taken place. other factors are included too, testosterone, aggression, etc., but it was "normal," albeit not "okay." interestingly, the women's movement has been divided as long as it's been happening. while both sides argued for women's rights, they undermined each other in which rights women should have. one half thought women were better than men, and others just wanted equality with men. in the supreme court case Muller v. Oregon, Louis Brandeis provided sociological proof that long hours of work affected women more negatively than men. assume what you want about this, women being the weaker sex, whatever. but the case was decided in women's favor and their work hours were reduced by law. half the women's movement was ticked. they thought "no, we're not weaker, we're better." and they may be...

so if you can infer anything from my rambling, it's not okay for men to hit women, its just traditionally been done for many many years. even when women were struggling for equality, they admitted themselves theyre the weaker sex physically. weaker physical sex=reduced ability to protect oneself=ability for men to beat women. going along with this, the weaker sex doesnt stand much of a chance beating the stronger one, so when a women hits a man its less damaging physically. although ive seen plenty of women kick the crap out of men. awesome.

why do i get a thumbs down? faceless cowards
