Since we moved and re-hooked up our computer I haven't been able to get the speakers to work. I've tried plugging them into all of the outlets on the back with the same symbol and nothing works. The power light is on and I have tried adjusting the volume also, nothing seems to work. What else can I try or are they blown/broken?

Aloha from Down Unda!

Often there is something wrong with the connection of the speakers, 'muted' or simply 'off' without a sound control being activated. There are several options for sounds found within the system. You'll find all settings through ~

Control Panel > Sounds, Speech & Audio Devices > Change the Sound Scheme

It's easy when it's 'learned'! Don't be discouraged to study your system to learn of the vast variety of the many options.

First things first, do you have the volume all the way up on the Computer and the mute off?

Taking a wild guess, I would have to say that your sound card may have come unseated during the move.

This would only happen if you have a seperate sound card, one that is not built into the motherboard.

Unplug your computer, then open it up an make sure all the cards, and plugs are seated completely.

If your sound card is built into the motherboard, then you probably have to reinstall the drivers.

Go to Control Panel
Click on System
Click on Hardware
Click on Device Manager
Click on the + by Sound, video, game Contollers

*IF* you see any Yellow & Black ! point or Red X REMOVEE them

Shutdown your computer, NOT RESTART

Wait at least minutes then restart computer

Windows SHOULD find and REinstall the drivers

Note: Even IF you don't see the above mentioned ! or X, just remove the sound card drivers anyway, then do the Shutdown procedure
