Hi, I might go away for a few days over my spring break and I was thinking of going somewhere alone. I've had a stressful semester and just got out of a long term relationship so I want to relax and rejuvenate myself. I'd like to go somewhere for 2-4 days. I live in California, so I'd somewhat prefer if it was a place in California, so I don't have to spend money on a plane ticket, but I'm still flexible on that. I want somewhere really beautiful, preferrably by the beach where I can relax and I won't be bored by myself. Any spa or resort recommendations? Thanks.

San Diego has all kinds of spa and stuff for you to do. The gas lamp district has shopping, food and entertainment. Plenty of people around good place to go if you are alone. They also have spa's there you will need to get on your computer and visit the San Diego Visitors website, you can also get a coupon book there for free stuff ect... You could always stay at the hotel Corando, they have a spa and all kinds of stuff there pools, resturants, nightlife and a beach just for the hotel! They have some nice chairs on the sand for guest and a cool ice cream palor for some great treats. The pool boys are pretty cute too! You won't run into a lot of sprink breakers having a party there. You can also see the fireworks from Sea World from there. Misson Bay in San Diego has a cool board walk go ride some rides by yourself...again plenty of people good place to be alone, but feel safe. Have a good trip hope you find what you are looking for!

Of course you could always go up to Monteray....nice an peaceful up there and hotels are pretty cheap. Good beaches that do not have a lot of people again plenty of places to eat and they do have a little of a nightlife.

Take a drive up to Napa - enjoy some wine and stroll the shops or take a wine tour. Stay at a B & B -
