I have a screaming noise in front of my truck. Could it be the bearing in the brakes. It gets screaming when its cold outside, but when its warm, there is no noise. What will happen if i keep driving my truck with that noise.

i lad odds it the belt,,, on cold day it take more to cramk the truck,, an it pull the battery down,,,,, i eather tighting the belts an have new one put on,

I'd say defiantly the belt and probably the belt tensioner.

Alternator bearing..or fan bearing...have you opened the hood and listened???

it could be the fan belt.when they are cold,sometimes they will squeel.
