According to the Times good university guide, the best are (from your choices):
1. UCL [3th in the country for law]
2. LSE [4th in the country for law]
3. City
4. Queen Mary
5. Kingston

I would also strongly advice you to do some work experience as this will look very good on your personal statement (even more so if you organise it yourself).

Good luck

I am a part-time Law student in my third year but attend none of these unis. However, what I would look for in a uni if I were to start all over again is:

Whether they have a law library and is it any good
Do they subscribe to Westlaw and/or Lexis (essential)
What are their policies for mitigating circumstances (just in case - you never know)
What support for learning do they have (mentors, helplines, extra classes, classes in essay technique etc)
How do they structure their lectures and seminars
What would be expected of you in terms of amount of time spent working
What accommodation do they have or help with getting you some
How close to town/facilities are they
Do they have a doctor/nurse/priest/rabbi/whatever visiting campus
Do they offer any form of bursary or grant
What is the arrangement with parking or transport to uni if you live off campus
What will they do for you in terms of future careers advice or helping you get onto another course - LPC or BVC

Most of these questions will be answered if you have the chance to go to an open day at the uni. Remember, it's not all about the learning process but also about the social aspect as well. It's no good being out in the boonies if you want a crazy time and similarly, if you want peace and quiet to study, you will probably be better off in a rural uni.

Its obvious you want to study in London, but here are a few things to do before making up your mind. I know it sounds 'nerdy' but devise a spreadsheet and award marks out of ten for categories that are important to you.

You could include things like:
Graduate employment rates
Course structure
Distance from home
Facilities
Grade requirements

Don't be afraid of contacting these Universities for information and attend an Open Day for ALL of them - they are good for getting the 'vibe' of the course and University.

Remember in today's 'market' they need to attract you as a potential customer!

Good luck with your application!

This is going by reputation. I would of course apply to somewhere like Oxford first, but I guess you want to stay in London. The top two are very good, the other three are acceptable (if you must stay in London).

Uh, double check your application. Many lawyers are dyslexic, but they never show anyone a first draft.

Also, be sure to practice your interview. And
