There's all kinds of theories and rumors, about it, but I think she did it because she knew that going into the custody trial with K-Fed, she would likely have to submit strands of her hair for drug testing. She knew that it would test positive, that it would destroy her credibility in the case and cast her as an unfit mother. Even if she's not currently using, her hair is like a recorded history of her drug use. I think she shaved her hair off for a clean start.

Rumor has it that K-Fed was going to take her to court for custody of the children and was moving for a court order to have her hair drug-tested, so to avoid popping positive and getting busted she shaved it all off. Do you believe that? Personally, I think that's giving Britney too much credit -- I mean this is the same girl who thought Pat Benatar did "I Love Rock N' Roll."

She's having some mental issues right now.
Thousands and thousands of people have mental issues every day. We need to give her some time to work things out without all the cameras all the time.
I think she has been a Horrible role model and very wreckless, but she is still just a person like you & me.

well remember when she almost dropped he baby and the press and everyone was really harsh on her and she was crying. well she needed to do something to get everyone to forget and drop that so she shaved her head because everyone would talk about that and forget she almost dropped her child, also if the whole drug using is true that would be a good reason

Because she is a weirdo and she needs to get her life if you can call it that sorted out for the sake of her two children. In and out of rehab ? That is not what you would want your kids to go through i dont even think there is anything wrong with her she is just a mardy c*w who feels sorry for herself well i got one thing to say to you brittz "we dont fell sorry for you so get ya life sorted out NOW"

Shes is going through a deep depression and is doing a lot of dumb things. She looks terrible without hair. I hope she gets better soon.

i know why she did it. because she was using cocain and drugs and stuff and then they brought her to hospital and then they could see it in her hair that she was taking drugs and then she shave her head so nobody would know she uses drugs. i think that is why cause everybody says that !!!!
SHE IS JUST CRAZY AND I AGREE with the person who said she is the next michael jakson cause she will be and i think she is crazy and they need to send her to hospital !!!!

well it's possible to use your hair in order to find out what drugs you used and during what time so she shaved her head so they wouldn't be able to tell
