Some of you may be aware of it, some of you haven't gotten the news yet, but Daylight Savings Time now starts on the 3rd Sunday of March and end on the 1st Sunday of November. How do you feel about the change?

Frankly, it doesn't bother me at all. Just waking up an hour early is just not my thing.

I like the March end but not the November end. It will still be dark when I take my children to school at 8am. They say it will save energy. I do agree with the person who said change the clocks a half an hour and leave them there.

It's one of the best thinngs Congress ever did. Strike that, it is the best thing Congress ever did.

The change in November is actually good, because the old system meant we were changing the clocks just before Halloween, and that's really the day you'd like an extra hour of light at night.

Those who don't like DST are frankly idiots. It makes no sense in the North when daylight lasts 16 hours in the summer for the sun to come up at 4 am when very few people are awake and to have it set at 8 pm when we could have it set at 9 pm, when everyone would like to spend more time outside. I'd actually prefer it if we turned the clocks ahead 2 hours in the summer.

I do not care for the March change...but I like the Nov change.
I work construction, which usually means starting work early in the winter to allow for weather related delays. Now, it's been getting light about 7:00am here in MI, but after this weekend it will be 8:00 when it gets light. Sure, only for a month-ish, but still. The old April time change didn't affect me in the mornings, it was far along enough to not matter, but now I'm not looking forward to the dark mornings again.

Coming from a northern state, it makes a lot of sense, just think of all those millions of homes not having to turn on their lights for an extra hour. It is having to get up an hour earlier, but it just takes a few days to adjust. I also like it because I feel like I have more energy in the evening.

I think it's ridiculous. I think we need to do away with Daylight Saving Time completely and just use standard time year round.

My preference would be to have a universal half hour change in 6 months and then never, NEVER!!!!!! have to change the clocks ever, EVER!!!!!!, again.

Personally I think we should make up our minds and leave it one way or the other. Its a stupid idea in this day and age.
