tornados, massive tornados that laugh in the face of steel construction. and dust storms that will suffocate you and strip the paint off of your car.

I live in Arkansas and the area I live sees tornadoes every year. Last year we had one that was staying in the air and went right over our house, dropping hail 4-5 inches across as it went over.
In 1999 there were five tornadoes that looked like fingers 200 yards behind my house trailer.
After Katrina and Rita we had a tornado outbreak and one went over our church, and another hit a church down the road and destroyed a friends house
We don't get very many earthquakes, mostly tornadoes

Here in western Tennessee we get mostly tornadoes and floods. But we are also sitting on a fault line that hasn't moved in over 100 years, so we are probably due for a pretty strong earthquake.

Well I live on the east coast of north Carolina... about 175 miles inland... and we can get some nasty thunderstorms in the spring and summer... also survived some pretty bad hurricanes ( FRAN & FLOYD survior )... that brings floods sometimes... the mountain areas of NC can get some mild tremors.... along with flooding rains in the spring.

Cyclones there one of the coast of West Australia right now and one that has just crossed the coast bringing winds of 300km an hr with it,they also bring large amount of rain causing flash floods. Its time to batten down the hatches and wait for the next one to cross the coast that's when they are at their most dangerous.

im in jersey, the most we get is thunderstorms in the summer - flood and blizzards in the winter -not so fun but we really didn't get hit that hard by snow this year. in my backyard i can see the grass with few patches of snow from yesterday
however we were hit by hurricane floyd in 1999
and we were hit by the reminance of many hurricanes in 2006 but we mostly got just rain for an hour or 2
