No but I think they will get close to it, about 68 wins is what I see.

Well, I don't think so... The regular season in the NBA consists of 82 games, and you'd have to lose only twelve times to get seventy wins. As of now, the Mavericks hold a 51-9 record... They'd have to go 19-3 over the last 22 to get to 70-12. Doable, but they've already clinched a playoff spot. If I were the head coach, I'd rest the starters down the stretch, because I know that a few more wins would clinch home court advantage. It'd be cool to see, though.

some individuals are answering the question "will the Mavs win 70 video games?" as hostile to "CAN the Mavs win 70". the answer is common: sure, they *can*. At fifty six-11, 2 7-activity win streaks, or a 6- and eight-activity streak, isn't out of the area of threat. Now, the problem is, sure the Mavs will be resting gamers down the stretch, yet so will truly some the communities they are going to be dealing with. The Mavs will quickly be locked into the #a million seed only as Phoenix will be at #2, the Spurs at #3, and and Utah at #4. they are going to easily flow all out to conquer Phoenix on 4/a million to attempt to win the season sequence 3-a million. even as the Mavs play Utah on 4/13 and the Spurs on 4/15, all those communities will be resting gamers, and the Mavs have the perfect bench contained in the league. something of the video games on the time table are very winnable video games. they actually *can* pull it off. even if the *will* is yet another question obviously.

I really think they will. In order to do so they would have to finish 19-3 over their last 22 games. They are currently 51-9 which equates to a winning percentage of .850. If the Mavericks keep up that pace they will win 18.5 games. You can't win a half of a game, so you round that up. 19 wins gives them 70 wins on the season. I predict they will probably lose at least one on their upcoming six game road trip. Again while at Phoenix and maybe another while playing a team that needs to win down the stretch such as at Minnesota.

They can if they try for it. However, I think what the Mavs will do is compete for home court advantage. Once they get that, Avery Johnson will probably start cutting down Dirk, JT, J-Ho, and the other starters' minutes to prepare for the playoffs.

But what's the point for getting 70? That's not even the record. If they go for 70, they might as well go for the record, 73-9. However, that means winning the all of their remaining games and I don't think Johnson is willing to tax his players for that.

They could but like most of your other answers I believe Avery will make sure they have home court all the way through and then will start resting his starting line-up. They will play in every game just get fewer minutes. He will not let them become rusty and he will not let them get arrogant. He always can find something they did wrong in a game. He does this so that they will continue to improve. This is our year we will win and we will be the champions.

potentially...i think they could. and if they won the championship last year maybe that would be something they would shoot for. but since they didnt whats the use of winning 70 games if it doesnt get u to the finals? the pistons wons like what 67 games last year and didnt even make it past the eastern finals. the seattle mariners won 116 games in 01' and didnt make it to the world series.

bottom line: regular season success is great...but if u want to be remembered get the job done in the playoffs

Yes they will. They are by far the best team in the NBA. This is the year they win the championship. With Dwayne Wade out for the Heat I dont see a team out there than can match up with them.

Probably not... they might start resting up towards playoff time so they're healthy. This will lead them to lose a couple games here and there
