I don't know. I tried everything that I can think of. I'm about to throw it out the window!

It could be a couple of things. The driver could be bad, in which case you need to delete the printer and re-install it (preferably with whatever the latest driver is from the manufacturer's web site). If that doesn't do it, it's possible that your cable is bad; it doesn't happen often, but it CAN happen. It's also possible that the USB port has died; you can check that by putting a different USB device on the same port and seeing if it still works.

If none of these helps, then you've probably just got a dead printer. I'd check it on someone else's system to see if you can get it to work there.

Could be a few different issues.

First, I would start by going to the website of the printers manufacturer and downloading the newest drivers for it.

If that does not solve the problem, then you probably have a bad cable. Try a new one.

If that does not work, then you are probably S.O.L.

I bet it;s an HP printer.....
that usually happens when theres a communications error , bad cable bad computer ect....anyway those HP printers don;t want to let go of the print job..they try to print the garbage they have...just unplug the power and data connects to the printer, lear pc and printer off for abut an hour....
then reconnect...

Its an HP Printer Rt..........
Its Simple......
1)After it prints the colour test page,check for any instruction on the page.
2)Place the test page Face Down On the Scanner glass.
3)Press the scan button
4)The ON Button will Start flashing.
5)Wait untill it becomes solid colour.
Your Issue is resolved...

Bad driver or cable, try installing the latest version of drivers from the manufacturers website, if this doesnt work a new cable, if still no luck im afraid your printer is dead!

This problem is called junk printing.
When ever the computer software's information is not interpreted in driver in proper way this kind of problem occurs.
Just dis-install the current driver anc reinstall for the 2nd time.
