I am just starting out on the guitar and the amplifier i have has settings for Treble, Middle and Bass (0-10). I'm not really sure what to set them at. Obviously i understand it is down to personal preference, but would be interested if other people could show me what works well with them.

Thanks

Best thing to do is to just plug in and play a couple notes... then start with the treble and twist it one way, then the other while repeating the notes. Keep doing so until you find the spot that sounds the best to you.

Then do the same for the Mid, and then the Bass. At this point, start over again, and keep repeating until you have dialed in what sounds the best to your ears, on this amp.

Different Amps will have different tones, and of course, we will all like something different in what we want our tone to sound like. This is probably the easiest way to arrive at what you like.

i like to start with the volume at a thrid or less
I start with all the eq settings in the middle
When I goof around with the settings i leave the knobs on the guitar alone and see what the amp can do for the guitar
There is really a lot of tricks to playing the amp and the guitar!!

Uggghhh...Treble is high, Bass is low, and Middle is Middle. Why can't you just figure that out?
