If you don't get this question, you never read a Dr. Seuss book.

Excuse my cynicism.
In my case, I certainly hope I am not a Sneetch.
I didn't come here to be a 'star performer', I came to be amused, and to assist, where I could.
I would rather be acknowledged for my candour, or the quality of my questions, and answers, but it seems that popular opinion has won the day, and 'everybody gets a little medal to keep for always' just for playing.
So much for harbouring a genuine desire to be amused, enlightened, and of some use to my fellows.

I am, therefore I am not. I was, therefore I could not. I should, but have no idea where I'm going with this. Hey, the sun's out and the fresh air and sugar from the homemade fudge I ate this morning have done their work.

Were sneetches cute? I'm thinking they are multi-colored with wild hair and they smile alot. :) That's me to a T! Except for the colors, hair and smile.

No, my star isn't on my belly - it's in my heart. (Spare me, they thought as they read another lame comment from someone with an orange stripe under their name.) And yes, I'm often full of it and my intentions are always good. (Can you PLEASE get on with it and say something important they wondered. ) And I still have no idea where I'm going with this. (You mean you're only figuring this out now? Gees, we knew with that first sentence!)

As my favorite thing is books, I'm honored and hope I can continue to learn and grow from my experiences here on Yahoo Answers. Corny, but true.

And I have the ability to type quickly, almost as fast as ideas go through my head. If sneetches do that, of course I am one.

Yup, I'm a Sneetch. But this Sneetch has earned the right to wear a star. Much better than those who are simply born with a star on thars.

It is not your lineage but what you make of yourself that counts.
