How do I make myself fill them out? I have a week off and am going home, and I think I should sit down for an hour a day and work on them. But how do I force myself to do it? I mean I'm already in debt with loans, and I don't need any more.

So Any advice?

Maybe you need to sit down with a trusted family member or friend who has excellent writing skills. Have that person interview you as needed to fill out the applications. You must write the essay if one is needed. Also, have copies of your transcripts at hand if they are required. Make sure this is someone who will force you to stay with it while the two of you work together. This is how my daughter filled out her first scholarship applications with me. In the following years she was able to complete them on her own.

If you are not applying on line, make sure you copy the applications and fill out a "dummy" copy first. Good luck--and get off your b-tt and get it done!! You will be glad you did!

Get a job flipping burgers if you can't fill in a form. You're going to have to fill in forms to get most respectable jobs after college anyway, consider it practice.

Seriously, just start with the things you know, like your name and date of birth. Just do it now, don't wait for your "hour a day".

And don't go to sleep (or eat) until the first form is completely filled in. then you can have a short break (for the toilet or whatever) before the second form. Five forms a day should do it.
