I want to put a song on my myspace profile page that is on a CD and is not anywhere else on the worldwide web. I have tried the various answers on this site, but none of them give exact directions. I don't want a webhosting site. I want a way to add music off of my computer onto my profile. Please help me.

You have one choice, aside from paying for hosting. Go to myspace and create a music profile, placing the song you desire on that space. Note, though, that if it is someone else's song (i.e. You don't have the legal right to play it for the public or to post it on a website) they will pull it down. That is the only way to get a song on your myspace profile, without learning MAD code and hosting your own site.

Myspace doesn't have an option for you to upload songs to it. The only way to do it is to have the song you want to have on your account encoded into an MP3 or similar type file and stored on a webserver. Geocities, a service through yahoo gives you that option. geocities.yahoo.com After you have that uploaded to your site you must then use HTML code to embedd that file on the page so that it can be played. Step-by-step instructions would take up a few pages so if its that important to you, you can look all that stuff up.
