at school im doing little red riding hood the ecological truth!
(might sound weird i know!)
but i have to scientific words and i need to know what population fluctuations means!
i tried googleing it but nothing helpful came up so dont tell me to try google!
can you please help me with that word as soon as possible please any suggestions welcome!

Fluctuation means variating, so it would mean a population that changed rapidly. Perhaps it refers to to fact that the wolf ate the grandmother!!

To fluctuate means to go up and down so a population fluctuation would be when the number of people living in an area goes up and down.
Don't know what that has to do with Little Red Ridinghood though. If it was the three little pigs then I could understand.

fluctuations = movement either higher or lower I.E how many people there are in anyone area at different times...like before a plague, and the amount of people after a plague, fluctuations.
