I wish, that is one of the most annoying, mannerless things a person can do and my husband is a slurper and I can kill him for it. I scream at him until he stops but then I think he does it on purpose just to piss me off

of course it is acceptable, and since you are there slapping the slurpers... try slapping the ones that make noise when their teeth hit the fork/spoon as they eat!!! assshhhhh...

I think it should be..along with the people who can't walk quietly in flip floops..there is a woman at my work that walks around constantly.FLIP FLOOP FLIP FLOOP! All day long.
