I want to include pages 293-664, but I think just subtracting makes it so I lose a page. So do I add '1' to the result of 371, for a total page count of 372? I hope to find this out right away for my job. Thanks.

Yes. 372 pages would be included.

Think of it this way: you are not including 292 of the pages, so that would be the number you want to subtract from your total. 664 - 292 = 372

the number of pages after 293 is 664-293.
To include page 293, you add 1.
