I think you should do what I'm doing! Considering that we may not all have the money to pay for the loans, and that not everyones job is going to promise big bucks once they graduate--I think you should consider getting certificates. For instance I have a degree in Culinary Arts, Im going to turn that into a Bachelors in Nutrition, but I also want to have Fitness Under my belt...So I'm studying certificate programs for that . I'll get certificates in my minor subjs of study---and certificate programs are much cheaper. Consider that---Degree in Fashion Certificates in other ares of study

Go for your dream. If you want to be in fashion, don't settle for less than the best.

I regret not going to UCLA, because though it would have saddled me with debt, think about the connections I would have!

I met a few nice people where I did go, but I see some of them cleaning rooms at hotels or bagging groceries. They're nice people, and it's sad.

You can still make connections elsewhere (I did eventually), but it's best to go for the best.

How do you achieve it? Just apply for any loans you can get, and any scholarships (we ordinary people do get them). Do some part time work if you have to, preferably related to fashion (which will be easier to get in LA).

They'll only give you the loan if they think you can pay it back.

Try, try again. If they turn you down for loans and scholarship, post here again with your experiences, and we'll give you some more ideas.
