When you put him to bed at night do you have a normal ruitine? If you do things differently it maybe cause him to stay awake. Is he dressed warm? Is there any noise in his room? Also I would agree on the nap thing. Play with him as much as you can during the day and try to keep his naps limited. Also before bed everynight try giving him a nice warm bath with the bedtime stuff. Make sure also the bottle is warm enough for his feeding, and make sure he has a full tummy. But remember before you lay him down for bed...dont play too much...try to act boring..try installing a dimmer also in his room. And remember give it time with him crying some babies natrually wake up in the middle of the night and sothe themselves back to sleep. I think also the major problem I had with my son sleeping was the pacifier. He would wake up screaming for it because it fell out of his mouth. But now he learned to self soothe with his fingers. Hope the advice helps! Good luck!!

I haven't slept through the night since I was 8 months pregnant with my first child...and he is now 13 years old. Some kids sleep through the night and some don't. My 5 year old still wakes up in the middle of the night, I put him in bed with me and go back to sleep. That's life with children.

Somethings that may work for some kids are: active days (tire them out), shorter naps during the day, warm baths before bedtime.

Good Luck

I have an 18 month old that doesn't sleep through the night. He never has. Don't feel bad about sleeping with the child if you need to get sleep. It's not as terrible as people think. YOU sleeping and being able to function and provide for your family is far more important than your baby sleeping on his/her own, that will happen eventually. I am a full time working mother. Sometimes when I need a solid number of hours of sleep this is what I do.

every child is different. if you can't compromise your 2 jobs and sleep for the baby, then you have to hire a nanny or someone to watch him so that you can get rest. also call the baby's doctor and discuss the situation. maybe there might be something that is irritating the child when he's in bed. Good luck with the baby!!!

Hi..

7 months is still an age when babies wake up their mom's all the time, hours of sleep are more organized when the baby is 1 year old.

Make sure the baby is warm.. make sure his tummy is not upset.. make sure to help him burp.. all these are things that can wake him up..

I feel for you, you don't get enough sleep & you're supposed to function properly all the time.. but again, if it was'nt for babies exhausting us (moms), we would'nt love them so much!..

Best of Luck =)

stumble on a mothers holiday application for the older one. you could enable the toddler carry out longer durning the day for meals, he will cry yet you would be up in any case. That way authentic till now you placed him in mattress you feed him a huge dinner. Do a similar with the older one. in many situations in case you're taking the older one out to the park, and so on. and placed on him/her out they are going to do extra perfect with an afternoon time nap. you additionally can wake the older one up early so shell sleep throughout the day some. stop switching the toddlers formula, thats so harsh on their tummy. be sure if he's in simple terms too fussy to furnish mylicon drops for the tummy aches. additionally examine the meals you're giving the little ones. too plenty sugar or glucose WILL shop THEM UP. My little guy wakes up 3xs at night yet it is kinda regular for our schedule. I wake my 2 365 days previous up at 7'oclock an hour or 2 till now the toddler. That way we are able to have time mutually and he will take a snooze throughout the day so i'm able to sleep whilst they the two do.

babies who wake up in the middle of the night either have wet nappies, uncomfortable sleeping mattresses. If you have a nursemaid who watches him when you work, I suggest you make sure the baby isn't abused in anyway because the waking up screaming is not a good sign.

He likes to have you play , and talk to him, and has learned to expect it. Is there anyway to keep him awake more during the day? It may take several days, but he needs to learn the difference between day and night. If you can keep him awake during the day, and no naps, he will start to sleep at night. It may be tough as he will want to sleep day naps, but don't give in. He can't run the house......Best wishes, been there, done that.

Let him cry it out. Go in every so often check make sure he is OK Do not touch him Leave quickly. This will feel awful and mean but bear with it. It will take 3 nights and he will be settling himself and sleeping. I have 4 kids
