wel i used 2 go on habbo hotel - its quite boring, if shes anything like me she'll get bored of it to and it will just be a passing craze! i think you can go on a safe version, but if she isnt on that and someone says a swear word, or something like that it will just cover it up with the word HABBO! but believe me she wil become bored of it and forget about it - i did! :P

The site is safe.

Habbo x memeber are available to prevent spamming and help new users.
The site is moderated 24/7 (all rooms) by a team of 30 moderators (4-5 at any one time)
All swear words are blocked by a filter
Firewalls are active so nothing can be sent in or out

The site is very safe as long as your child has common sense to not listen to hackers or spammers.

I however would agree that:

You should not allow a child of this age to use credits - the coin system in operation in the hotel. May users tend to be victimized due to current issues with Habbo club member and non members.

I must admit I have been working within the hotel for some 3 months and many 9 - 10 years seem to have a lot of fun.

The website is moderated 24/7 so there should be no problem with it. Of course, there are tyrants on the website who may say some unsuitable things to a 9 year old, but they are everywhere these days.

There is also a disclaimer on the website that the game was made for 13 year olds and older. Keep that in mind.

Tellitubbies- i have heard it promotes homosexuality, yet i have in no way seen it so i do not understand. I do imagine they are kinda freaky searching. friends- A six year previous shouldn't watch friends. it truly is meant for older persons, and there are frequently references to sex. Charmed- if you're Christian, the answer is glaring. The coach is about witches, and also you recognize what the Bible says about witches. Heroes- i have in no way stumbled on something I evaluate truly undesirable in Heroes, yet i does no longer enable a 6 year previous watch it because of the ordinary violence/peril. again, the coach is designed for a a lot older target market. Spongebob- Spongebob usually includes man or woman jokes and references. babies gained't get those references, yet they are there though. living house- Um, viewer discretion is stated? your babies do not favor to be watching surgical procedures, genuine or no. lost- i have in no way truly seen the coach, so i visit't say. Pushing Daisies- isn't that canceled? Battlestar Galactica-couldn't say. Simpsons- No, it is a caricature, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is for kids and adults... quite usually adults. family members guy- No, no longer for babies in any respect. It includes truly some crude humor and sexual references. i stumbled on it offensive. southpark- in no way enable your baby watch this!!! in case your 6 year previous is watching this coach, you are able to be loopy using the undeniable fact that is one among the worst coach on television! express language for the time of, various references to drugs, violence, alcohol, sex, and unlawful activities. the point of the coach is to make interesting of issues, fantastically assorted communities- even if it truly is race, faith, etc. It encourages prejudice.

I don't know about the security but far what I've seen it's aimed at people 12-17, that's a round about figure.

I suggest you purchase the web security program suite call BSAFE. This program filters the internet for you and is extremely safe for children. Its cost is minimal and just go to www.google.com and key in 'bsafe security program'.
