Check for adware/spyware/malware. These aren't usually detected by antivirus software. There are several free ones out there. Ad-aware and spybot are probably the most popular.

Get Superantispyware,its a free download.Run it in SAFE MODE.Takes about 40 mins so be patient.If their is something there,this baby will find it.Works well for me,should here those PC nasties scream. Best of luck.

Pictures and Music and Video. get it off your PC and it will be much better. Try re-installing Your software that works for me every time.

mine has been the same. i have de-fragged, disk cleaned and virus scanned, but it`s still very slow. so i`ll be watching for an answer too.

try AVG FREE if not then are you with AOL?
