I heard a news item about a possible scheduling of total troop withdrawal from Iraq by fall 2008?

The gutless Liberal Democraps have attached a condition to the $100 million dollar military funding bill that troops be withdrawn by the end of 2008. It is typical sickening Liberal gutless partisan politics. Bush will veto the measure, but then they will turn around and start blaming the president for not funding the war. Liberals are sickening and pathetic not to mention cowardly.

That is the buzz right now. The democrats are kicking around the idea of trying to tack on a provision to the latest war funding bill that would require the troops to leave Iraq by then. It's not official yet and nothing has been brought to the floor.. i'm not sure it would pass even if they did bring it to a vote.

Things can change rapidly, if something unforeseen happens.
Can the Islamo-fascists resist making a big splash before then?
Because if they do something big, it may change the whole debate. And if they don't do anything big, they will see themselves as losing the war. They are not a unified force yet, either, so one group could do something against the interests of the others.
I watch with interest.
