how i find where my gratgrandad was buirred he was born in 1940 and live in surrey

It costs money to join all the ancestry sites, then some of them charge again to buy credits to look at entries made in registers. It's a little hard to find out where burials took place, unless you can get information from any of your ancestor's family. Look in the phone book under cemeteries and you may find an entry for information or something similar. You could try calling this number and ask if they know of the plot where he is buried. If they can't help you, ask for a number for the department who can. Is it just the burial site you're looking for, or are you looking for information on other ancestors?
